Candy Crush Level 48 can be a tricky level, so you definitely need to bring some patience to the table for this one. Candy Crush Level 48 only gives you 35 moves to clear all the jelly and score a minimum of 70,000 points. You can make this happen if you follow these simple steps and guidelines for level 48 of Candy Crush.
On Candy Crush Level 48 you will need to bring all your focus to the licorice and jelly in the center of the board. Your 35 moves will go quick so you need to make every one count. Try not to make useless combos on the top of the board because you aren’t moving anything around. With this said, working on the bottom of the board will help you get things moving around on the top, hopefully resulting in a chain of combos.
Obviously, the easiest way to beat candy crush level 48 is by using special candies but this can be hard because of the limited space you are allotted. You should be able to make striped candies without too much trouble and these are going to be your ticket to the next level of candy crush. Try setting up horizontal or vertical striped candies to open up the center of the board.
There is no need to make a bunch of special candies and leave them lying around, as soon as you make a special candy, just use it. It will help clear out the center quicker, possible making more special candies.
If you are having a hard time making special candies, just stick to making basic combos near the center of the board and try to open up the licorice X’s. Once you do this, the candy should start landing in your favor, making it easy for you to setup striped candies and wrapped candies.
Remember, if you ANY 2 special candies close enough to pair up, this is going to be the best way to clear the level. One of these match ups will easily get you the points necessary to beat the level along with destroying most of the jelly.

When I clear the middle with one jelly left and 10+moves left, is it better to keep using my moves to make more combos or to go ahead and finish the game? Do I get bonus points for having a lot of moves left when I clear all? Is the number of fish I get at the end based on that? (Sometimes I get a lot of fish, sometimes none! ). I can consistently clear the jelly but can’t get enough points to get 3 stars!

Yes Lauren, go ahead and finish the level. You will get more points finishing the level then you would if you used those 10 moves individually. This is referred to as SUGAR CRUSH. How many bonus points you earn can differ each time but there is no way to track how many you will get, as it will be different every time.
On jelly levels, for every move you have after breaking the last jelly, you will get 3 jelly fish. This is why you see a lot sometimes and only a few other times. The jelly fish match up with random candies, but if they happen to combine with the same color candy, then you get extra points as well. The jelly fish are weak in my opinion but it is better than nothing.
If you really want 3 stars but can’t get it now, I recommend playing on to future levels, then coming back to this level once you have progressed further into candy crush. You will probably find the level easier to beat at this time because the experience you have gained as a candy crusher!
Hopefully this helps 🙂
