Tips to Beat Candy Crush Level 6

February 4, 2014 by Curt Crusher Leave a Comment

Candy Crush Saga Level 6Your goal for Candy Crush Level 6 is to beat a score of 9,000 points in under 16 moves. This level is a step up from the last, so you need to use your newly found candy crush experience to pass the level.

On Candy Crush Level 6 you will be confronted with a new game element. This new element is referred to as “Jelly”. As you see in the center of the screen, some of the candies are hovering over the jelly. On this level, not only do you have to reach the score within a certain amount of moves, but you also have to “break” the jelly. To break the jelly, you simply create a combo over the jelly cubes. Also, on levels with jelly, you usually want to focus on the jelly first because you won’t always have an opportunity to break every jelly cube. This is a good habit to build and is a universal rule to keep in mind.

The best way to tackle candy crush level 6 is by focusing on the jelly. You only have to crush 1 candy on the jelly to break it. So clearing the jelly isn’t that hard but you only have 16 moves, so you have to make every move count. A good way to start would be to get combos on the bottom to cause the candy on the top to move around. If you have an available combo in the jelly, then of coarse go for it, but you don’t have to focus all your attention there. If you have the opportunity to create special candies, then go for it. This will just help you reach the score limit faster. Otherwise, candy crush level 6 should be a pretty easy level for most. I beat it my first try. So you should too!

Tips to Beat Candy Crush Level 5

February 4, 2014 by Curt Crusher Leave a Comment

Candy Crush Saga Level 5The Goal for Candy Crush Level 5 is to score 5,000 points within 20 moves. This Candy Crush Level isn’t as big as the last level, so making combos is going to be a harder task because there is less space. Just take your time and make sure every move counts.

The main strategy to use for candy crush level 5 is to work on the bottom of the board. This will cause a “cascade” effect on the top of the board, giving you automatic combos and mixing everything up. This happens when you crush candies on the bottom and it cause everything on the top to fall. Moving the candies into different combinations than before, opening up new possibilities. This is a basic law of Candy Crush physics that you will use to your advantage throughout your candy crush career.

On Candy Crush Level 5 your best bet in getting through the level is setting up striped candies since there isn’t much room for more than 4 way combos. Vertical or Horizontal striped candies should do the trick. Just remember, if a striped candy aligns with another striped candy, you don’t get any extra points so it is a waste to use it. In this situation, try to bring one of the striped candies out of the lane by doing basic combos. In turn, you will get double the points for splitting them up. Just be patient. You don’t always have to use you special candies right away.

Tips to Beat Candy Crush Level 4

February 4, 2014 by Curt Crusher Leave a Comment

Candy Crush Saga Level 4The Goal for Candy Crush Level 4 is to score 4,500 points within 15 moves. This level isn’t much harder than the last but it makes you rely on special candies to gain the score minimum.

Your first instinct when looking at candy crush level 4 is probably to combine the wrapped/striped candy combo that is glowing in the center of the screen. But DON’T do it. If you look around the board first, you might see a better move to make. If you don’t have any other options, just drag the wrapped candy over the striped candy and watch the magic happen. This is a great way to get points without wasting moves. Otherwise, you can save the special candy combo and use it later. Just make sure you don’t move any candies below the wrapped/striped candies or you could separate them. Then they won’t be as valuable to you. They are still useful but you can gain more points by using them together, plus you clear out more candy, which is a good habit to grow for later levels of Candy Crush.

Remember, there is no time limit and the FLASHING CANDY aren’t always the best move to make, so always look around the board before you make a mistake.

Tips to Beat Candy Crush Level 3

Candy Crush Saga Level 3

Candy Crush Level 3 has a goal of 4,000 points that you have to reach within 15 moves. This is the first level where you need to use special candies to pass the level. In order to create special candies you have to create combos of 4 or more. You can also create a wrapped candy by creating an “L” or “T” out of 5 candies. These “special” candies, if used correctly, can give you big point boosts that will put you over your minimum score amount.

Just as I said before, the way to beat Candy Crush level 3 is by using special candies. For instance, as you can see in the screenshot on the left, I only have 6 moves left, but I saved up the 3 striped candies so that it could put me over the 4,000 point goal. Sometimes, its better to save your special candies for a moment when they will be worth the most. This technique will become clearer as you progress through levels such as candy crush level 3.

Once you get a good grasp on creating special candies, you can start experimenting and mixing them with other special candies. Each mix creates special bonuses that you can’t get with regular combos. For instance, when you mix a wrapped candy with a striped candy, they clear out 3 complete rows and columns of candy. So as you can see, this are very powerful tools that can make you candy crushing life easier. If you stick to these simple guidelines, you will be a much better candy crusher than most. If you can’t beat Candy Crush Level 3 after reading this guideline, then there might be something wrong with the person playing it.

Tips to Beat Candy Crush Level 2

February 4, 2014 by Curt Crusher Leave a Comment

Candy Crush Saga Level 2Candy Crush Level 2 is a simple level that is just like level 1, but on a greater scale. The score to beat is 900 points within 15 moves.

On Candy Crush Level 2 you should be able to get higher combos than the level before. To do this, you combine 4 or 5 candies in a horizontal or vertical line. 4 candies results in a striped candy and 5 candies results in a chocolate sprinkled candy. Striped candies can take out a full row or column of candy depending on which way the stripes are running. A chocolate sprinkled candy can be paired with any single candy and breaks every alike kind on the board. These are the basic attributes of these 2 “special” candies. You can combine special candies for greater results and different effects but we will explain those on later Candy Crush Levels.

A universal rule for Candy Crush Saga that can help with any level is that you should normally work from the top to bottom. This allows you to make combinations on the top, while not affecting what happens on the bottom of the board. Meaning if you have a possible combination on the top and also the bottom, if you combine the bottom first, it might affect the top, and move the candies out of position. This is a good habit to make for future levels. So if you have a good combo on the top, use it, because this will save you moves and get you more points.
